Stop. Pause. Freeze.

Stop. Pause. Freeze the moment in time. Today is not just another day. Nor was the one before it. Nor will tomorrow be…just another day. Make each and every day beautiful in its own right, make it something different. We often get caught up in so much of what we do in life. If you do the same thing long enough, it becomes a constant in a forever changing world. It’s important to remember that change is not our enemy, that we should not be afraid of it. Change allows us to grow and learn, in often tough and stressful times we conquer and get back up stronger than before.

I’d like you to think for a moment about what your typical day is like, then think about what the typical week looks like, then month and even years! If it’s all too common, i want you to try something for me…i want you to take a left instead of the usual right when walking down to the station platform. Sit on the grass instead of that same old bench when you go out for lunch. Go get that book you’ve always wanted to read and make a pact to read a chapter a day. Call up some old friends of yours, plan lunch and dinner dates! Give it a try, i promise you won’t regret. 🙂

P.S. “Cover Photo” Today (10th February 2017), I decided to be in the city an hour before work. This was my pause in time. This is what I saw.

Author: Jason Li

Jason Li (born 17th October 1992) grew up in the big bad city of Sydney. After all these years, he’s still growing up; or at least trying to. Sometimes he writes. Sometimes he gets lucky and writes something good. Most of the time, however, he has no idea where life is taking him, living life just one single day at a time.
